Attention Parents of Young Children (Ages 0 to 6)
Are you looking for new ways to respond to your child’s challenging behaviors?
Do you need ideas on how to help your child to follow directions and household rules?
Do you want to create a positive relationship with your child?
If you answered “yes”, then the Positive Solutions workshop series is for you. The workshops help parents of young children learn strategies to promote positive behavior. Parents attend six workshops that focus on different topics each week. Children are invited to participate in child activities in a child care setting during the workshops. Racine County UW-Extension will be offering the Positive Solutions workshop series to parents and caregivers of young children age 0 to 6 years old. The workshop series will run for 6 weeks on Tuesdays: March 20, 27, April 10, 17, 24, and May 1, from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. at the Family Resource Center in Julian Thomas Elementary School in Racine. The workshops are free and free child care and a light meal are provided. Registration is required by Tuesday, March 13.
