Attend 4-H Summer Camp!

Registration is now open for Racine County 4-H Summer Camp! We have many opportunities for Racine County 4-H members to experience the great outdoors, learn life skills, and meet new friends!

Day Camp (Current K5-2nd grades)
Day Camp will be August 14th, 2018 at Old Settler’s Park in Union Grove. Day Camp is a special day planned just for our youngest 4-H members. A variety of activities and learning experiences await summer day campers including crafts, games, and new friends. Registration is first-come first-served and space is limited. Registration closes Wednesday, July 11th, 2018.

Base Camp (Current 3rd-5th grades)
Base Camp is June 15th-17th, 2018 at Holiday Home Camp in Williams Bay. Campers sleep overnight in cabins. A variety of activities and learning experiences await summer campers, including swimming, campfires, archery, adventure activities, crafts, and more! Camp is organized so youth of all levels encounter a variety of new experiences, learn life skills, and develop new friendships. Registration closes Wednesday, May 9th, 2018.

Adventure Camp (Current 6th-8th grades)
Adventure Camp is June 24th-26th, 2018 at Devil’s Lake State Park near Baraboo. Campers sleep overnight in tents. Adventure Camp includes a variety of activities and learning experiences, including rock climbing, water activities, campfires, wilderness cooking, hiking, and much more. Registration is first-come first-served and space is limited. Registration closes Tuesday, May 29th, 2018.

Horse Camp (Current 4th-13th grades)
Horse Camp is May 19th-20th, 2018 at the Racine County Fairgrounds in Union Grove. Campers sleep overnight in tents. Horse Camp is open to youth currently enrolled in the Horse Project in Racine County 4-H. A variety of activities and learning experiences await campers including horse related crafts, riding and non-riding equine sessions, a movie, and more. There will be activities for youth with and without horses. Acceptance for camp is first-come first-served basis and space is limited. Registration closes Tuesday, May 1st, 2018.

There are also opportunities for our teen leaders to serve as camp counselors in training, camp counselors, activity coordinators, and youth directors. Applicants must complete an interview and training process to be on camp staff. The camp staff application is due Wednesday, February 28th, 2018.
