HORTICULTURE MISSION

University of Wisconsin – Extension programs in Horticulture:

  • Plan, develop, teach and evaluate university research-based educational programs for all Racine County residents based on their needs
  • Diagnose insect, disease, and environmental plant problems for commercial businesses and consumers
  • Train and coordinate Master Gardener Volunteers

HORTICULTURE PROGRAM AREA TOPICS

  • Landscaping & Grounds Maintenance Short Course for professional horticulturists is held annually.

  • Green Works Learn – Grow – Work A Horticulture Job Training Program for Adults with Disabilities
