4-H Summer Cabin Camp August 19-21, 2008

4-H Members, presently in grades 3rd-5th are invited to attend as campers

4-H Members, presently in grades 8th-13th are invited to attend as counselors

SUMMER CAMP .   The camp is for 3 days and 2 nights at Camp Upham Woods in Wisconsin Dells .

Pack your bags, think summer, stars at night, sun and beach by day.   Camp is crafts, campfires, nature walks, great food, friends, fun and much more.

Racine County 4-H Summer Camp is "Youth Leadership in Action."   Older 4-H members are trained and given opportunities to experience leadership with different levels of responsibilities.  

The leadership team plans and runs the summer camp.   They include youth directors, counselors, adult staff, and camp directors.   It is a great experience and lots of fun.   The team will select the camp theme, plan sessions and activities, run the evening programs and campfires.     4-H camp is organized so youth of all levels encounter a variety of new experiences, learn life skills and develop new friendships.

4--H camp is a positive youth development experience.   We are looking forward to a fun and exciting summer camp!!

4-H ADVENTURE CAMP August 19-21, 2008

4-H Members, presently in grades 6th and 7th are invited to attend

ADVENTURE CAMP is 4 days and 3 nights at Devil's Lake in Baraboo, Wisconsin.

Pack your bags and get ready for your adventure of a lifetime. Camping under the stars, campfires, nature walks, rock climbing, canoeing, swiming, and so much more!

Be ready to learn camping and leadership skills. You will be under the guidance of qualified adult leaders.

4-H DAY CAMP July 10, 2008

Racine County Junior Leaders will be conducting a Day Camp for youth in grades 2nd-4th.   The camp will provide a day of 4-H type learning experiences.   Youth grades 8th   - 13 grade are needed as counselors (male & female).Contact Linda in   the UW-Extension office if you are interested in counselor. More information on a planning date will be sent at a later date. Adults are needed to assist.

Racine County 4-H Cookbooks

are available for sale NOW.

The cookbooks are sold for $12 each. The profits earned on the county level will go directly in to the Racine County 4-H Endowment Fund.

The cookbook have over 875 recipes from 4-H families, alumni and friends of 4-H. The cookbook will have wonderful recipes, 4-H history and many sheets of helpful hints. Think Christmas gifts! Call the UW-Extension office for more information at 262-886-8463.
