Project Goals

The 4-H horse program allows youth to develop horsemanship skills. You will also learn skills through educational activities such as horse judging, horse bowls, hippology, speech and demonstration contests. You don’t have to own a horse to be involved.

Horse/Horseless Horse Project Workshops and Clinics

Meetings have been switched to the 3rd Thursday of the month at Raymond Town Hall.  We will NOT be meeting every month. 

The workshop dates are:

Dec. 15 — Potluck & new members and pass out Hoofprint awards, new member Q&A

Feb. 16 – Fashion & Nutrition OR Ask the Vet (We need to firm up the vets first — will update when we know which is which.)

Mar. 15 — Fashion & Nutrition OR Ask the Vet

May 17 – Safety and Fair tags  

June 21 — Ice Cream Social & ??? (What you need for fair?)  More info will follow

July 19 — Meet at fairgrounds — info and clean-up

All clinics are held at the Racine County Fairgrounds at 6pm.  They are sponsored by different clubs in the county.
